Appointment of arbitration panel president in the legal dispute between INA and EDISON INTERNATIONAL

MOL Plc. hereby informs the capital market participants that INA, d.d. made a regulatory announcement today about the receiving of the decision on the appointment of arbitration panel president in the legal dispute with EDISON INTERNATIONAL S.p.A (EDISON).

In the arbitration notice EDISON states that INA, d.d. did not fully comply with its contractual obligations under the Production Sharing Agreement in Izabela and Iris/Iva blocks on Adriatic sea, and it in the same notice claims damage compensation from INA in the amount of cca EUR 140 million, as well as compensation for lost profit.

INA, d.d. delivered a response to the arbitration notice in which it fully contests the allegations of EDISON, and it also submitted a counterclaim against the company EDISON.
