The Hungarian Energy Office approved the partial sale of MOL's gas business

MOL Hungarian Oil and Gas Company hereby announces that, according to information received from E.ON Ruhrgas International, the Hungarian Energy Office approved the partial sale of MOL’s gas business to E.ON Ruhrgas International. The approval is subject to the satisfaction of certain preconditions.
On 4 November 2004 MOL and E.ON Ruhrgas International signed an agreement on the partial sale of MOL’s gas business. The transaction remains subject to the approval of relevant competition offices.
